Who this notice is for
This cookie notice explains how DeskCrew.ai (a trading name of The Technology Framework Ltd, company number 13918137) uses cookies and similar technologies on deskcrew.ai. It sits alongside our privacy policy. Contact: hello@deskcrew.ai.
In the UK, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) sit on top of UK GDPR for cookies and similar tech. Non-essential cookies need consent before they are set, except for those strictly necessary to provide a service you ask for.
What we use
Strictly necessary: we may use a short-lived preview or session cookie when a staging or password-gated preview environment is unlocked. That is only to remember that you have access for that session. The public site does not need that cookie for ordinary browsing.
Analytics and advertising measurement (non-essential): we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to see which of our adverts lead to enquiries, bookings and signups. Both are provided by Google (Google LLC), acting as our processor. We run no remarketing and build no advertising audiences from this site.
Signup and portal: if you start a signup, answers may be saved in your browser so you can continue later. That is functional storage for a process you started, not analytics. Payment card fields are handled by Stripe in your browser; we do not set analytics cookies as part of taking a card.
Consent before analytics cookies
Neither Google Analytics nor Google Ads conversion tracking sets a cookie until you choose. When you first visit we ask, with a banner, whether to accept analytics. Decline, and Google's tags run in a cookieless mode that stores nothing in your browser; the site works the same. Accept, and Google may set analytics and conversion-measurement cookies.
Your answer is stored in localStorage on this device (keys used by our consent code) for 12 months, then we ask again. Clearing this site's data in your browser brings the banner back on your next visit. You can also block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out browser extension.
The four Google consent-mode signals (ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage) move together: we run analytics and ads conversion measurement, or neither. There is no half-way state on this site.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, build marketing lists from your visit, or use the analytics setup described here for remarketing audiences. Choosing Decline does not reduce access to the public pages of the site.
More detail and your rights
How we use personal data more broadly, including contact forms, bookings, the AI voice assistant and signup, is in the privacy policy. You can ask about your data rights by emailing the address above, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
